The rising sun saw the two wolf cubs outside of the den even before Hurit, who usually got up at dawn to spend some time with her mate, and then would come back to them, sweet and affectionate as ever.
"Hello, dad!" Dyami greeted him cheerfully, passing between his paws.
"Dyami!" Mahkan called to him surprised, and ran over to the pup.
"Hi, Daddy!" came Aquene next.
The wolf turned his eyes, even more amazed, and lowered his head from its majestic pose toward his daughter who affectionately put her front paws on his muzzle and rubbed against it with her pointed nose.
