Ci sarà un episodio in particolare che mostrerà i due lati che convivono insieme in Xan: quello disperato, ormai assuefatto dalla vendetta e dalla paura di perdere i suoi figli, e quello di un lupo ancora con del vero amore nel cuore. In poche parole odia terribilmente i Lupi della Foresta, ma non è in grado di far a loro la stessa cosa che alcuni di loro hanno fatto a coloro che lui più amava
